Beverleigh Quested, RN, PhD, MN (Adv Practice)
Beverleigh Quested is a Transfusion Nurse Educator for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, and is actively involved in SA Health's BloodSafe program.
I have a clinical background in Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation and explored recipient recovery after Blood Stem Cell transplantation for my PhD.
I have presented at numerous national and international conferences, and published in a number of leading journals on blood, death and dying, and assessment of oncology patients.
I was part of the working groups developing RCNA and ANZSBT Guidelines for the Administration of Blood Components, Blood refrigeration with Standards Australia and EQuIP Standards for Safe Blood Transfusion Practice.
