Oi-Lin Lee is a Transfusion Medicine Specialist working at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service in Adelaide.
I completed my Haematology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. I also have had clinical experience in South Australia, Singapore and England.
My haemotological interests include blood and bone marrow morphology, haemostasis and thrombosis, teaching and patient blood management.
I am currently working with IMVS to determine the most appropriate assays for the detection of Lupus anticoagulant and looking at using Thrombin Generation to determine which patients are at the highest risk of developing thrombotic complications.
I am about to start a PhD on looking at mechanism of resistance with the 3rd Generation Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors.
