ERIC is for the use of Health facilities within Australia.
With effect May 2013 no new registrations will be accepted for ERIC.
The Blood Service’s Electronic Return Information Capture (ERIC) system will be retired from service on 1 July 2013. All blood and blood product loss data will be collected in the National Blood Authority’s (NBA’s) BloodNet system. This means that current ERIC users will need to make arrangements to access BloodNet to record waste data.
You can find more information about BloodNet at www.nba.gov.au/bloodnet/. Please would you contact the NBA on 13 000 BLOOD (13 000 25663) or BloodNet@nba.gov.au as soon as possible to ensure that you can access BloodNet Fate before the end of June.
