The Blood Service Registrar Transfusion Education Program kicks off for 2014 – 2015 on Wednesday 17 September at 5.30pm AEST via webinar.

Associate Professor Ralph Green will be presenting Introduction on basic immunohaematology. The session will cover the generation of antibody response, antigens, antibodies, Ag/Ab interactions and the role of the complement system.

The full 2014 – 2015 program will be released in October.

The Registrar Transfusion Education Program provides haematology registrars with an overview of transfusion immunohaematology, clinical transfusion practice and patient blood management. It is also relevant for scientists, medical officers and consultants.
