“Can you please pass on our thanks to the distribution staff who worked last night? We had a 15-year-old patient who needed a massive transfusion and your staff were amazing and really, really helped us out.

“Our staff member, Arlene, said she ordered lots of products and then had to add on some platelets to the order, but didn’t have time to put it into BloodNet as she was so busy and was working alone. Arlene phoned distribution to ask them to add on some platelets and explained her situation and your staff simply added the platelets on to the order and sent it all out really quickly. Once she had a minute Arlene put the order into BloodNet for these extra platelets.
